Chrystel, this is an excellent blog. You write from the heart, which is always the best way. Congratulations.
I think during our lives we are drawn to people who we realise can nurture us and help us grow, and of course that works both ways.
So for me, my gratitude goes to you, a genuine colleague and a good friend.

Awww thanks Phil for your touching message. I can’t say it was easy as I don’t really like writing, but I wanted to share a strong message and glad I finally did it! My gratitude goes back to you for being a 5* client, a good friend and great therapist. Much love, Chrystel x

Lovely chrystel, brave, touching and I hope its rewarding for you. Near death experiences certainly make us put life into perspective, we all take so much for granted,
I also am a very grateful person after surviving my stroke in 2009 and getting back to a pretty good quality of life, grateful for the great NHS and my amazing family and friends that helped me get to where I am now. Appreciate the simple things in life as we dont know what the future brings.
    God Bless you
    Leigh X

Thanks Leigh, you are surely an inspiration to me, seeing you always happy and enjoying life to the full is fantastic. We realised recently talking to a neighbour in our street that he had a stroke too (we thought it was a car accident at first) – he was doing 3 jobs to pay the mortgage and it just got too much and too stressful for him and had a stroke. So sad… He is now in a wheelchair but making progress every week which is fantastic to hear and he said he is grateful to still be alive. It shows how precious life is and how we take for granted our health, being able to walk and being mobile, and how we could focus too much on work and money. That chat with him had a big impact on me and helped me focusing back on life, nature, keeping healthy instead of just thinking of work. Much love and blessings back to you, Chrystel xx

I am thankful for so many tighns my relationship with Jesus Christ comes first, husband and children come in a close second my life would be so incomplete without Jesus or my family. My life in general, the people I met, my activity, my health, the sunrise, the sunset and everything in between etc I count my blessings every day. I must add I am thankful after tomorrow no more political ads!! Thank you for reminding us of what we have to be thankful for.

Glad I stumbled upon your site and found your PINTEREST pages today. As a six-year cecanr survivor and five years post a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor, I feed upon positivity, gratitude, and thankfulness like this. No greater medicine in the world!

I am grateful for your blog becsaue it reminds people to be grateful. Everywhere we turn the media is bombarding us with things we don’t need and can’t afford and we forget to look at what we have and start thinking about what we don’t have. Also I am grateful for my Uncle Geoff who was a gentle shining light through much darkness.

Thank you for sharing your story, Chrystel. Knowing you, you always appear so at ease with things, even when they are maybe tough. And now I feel I understand better just how you do that. You’ve clearly shared from the heart in your very first blog post, and it’s wonderfully authentic. I hope you continue to write more. You should. I l also love the positive quotes and photos (especially the butterfly ones!) on your Facebook page. And yes, appreciating nature, hugs and those we love are things we should be doing every day, for our soul x

    • Chrystel August 28, 2015 at 10:02 pm #

Thank you for your beautiful and touching reply Vanessa, glad you enjoyed it. Hoping my story will help touch people in some ways. Looks like I have more demand for more blogs, I gave myself some extra work πŸ˜‰ As you know writing is not the easiest thing for me but I am working on it and seeing such a wonderful feedback motivates me even more! Lovely to share the same love for nature, people, animals and butterflies of course! πŸ˜‰ I really enjoy doing the posts for my love and gratitude FB page, it’s very uplifting! Much love, Chrystel xx

Thank you for sharing your story Chrystel. Your Gratitude book is a fabulous way to direct the mind to a more healthy outlook. It is said that we create our own reality and clients come to see me when they don’t like what they’re experiencing. The gratitude exercise is one of the no-brainer techniques I get them to use, for making the difference they seek. And it only takes a couple of days for them to start noticing the difference too. No negative side-effects, and so much more effective than any drugs, prescribed or otherwise. I’ll be recommending your book in my newsletter again this Xmas. Just remind me when the time is right for you.

    • Chrystel August 31, 2015 at 9:55 pm #

Thank you Lysette, glad you enjoyed my story. My main aim was to help people focus more on gratitude and the big message close to my heart was to remind people to give blood – best gift anyone can do, saving lives. Great point you are making saying gratitude acts as a natural medicine with your clients, no need for drugs, that is so true. A big thank you for offering to share my journals in your newsletter again, I really appreciate. By then I should have brought out new colours and new designs, exciting! πŸ™‚ Much love, Chrystel xx

Thank you for sharing such an inspirational blog Chrystel. I can’t believe this is your first one! You look like and expert its so well written and laid out. I have trepidation about writing our blog, and as such have only done one so far! Well done again xx

    • Chrystel September 9, 2015 at 4:42 pm #

Aww thank you so much Katie for your lovely comments. Trust me it wasn’t easy to put that together and having the courage to publish it but I am so glad it had such a great response and hopefully I am spreading more awareness. Now the challenge is to keep blogging, people keep asking me for the next one! πŸ˜‰ I am sure you’ll find some great blogging ideas for the Haven Hub, lots to share about healing and spirituality that people would love to read. One step at a time! πŸ™‚ Much love, Chrystel xx
